The course "TechWay ZP: choose your future in tech" has ended
On June 12, the participants were gathered for the final of the course, implemented by the Center for the Support of Public Initiatives “Free UA” and the “Zaporizka Polytechnic” NU. It was attended by 230 young people who plunged into the world of technology for a month: they learned, tried and created.
Thanks to the TechWay course, the teenagers of Zaporozhye became convinced that technology can be usefully applied in everyday life and make a career out of it!
The course consisted of three directions, which covered the most relevant topics:
— software that makes money — the basics of modern 3D modeling: development and production of own 3D designs of souvenir products; teacher — Serhiy Tanchenko
— 3D printing — working with the Bambulab slicer: adjusting printing parameters and creating real 3D objects; teachers — Dmytro Perveev and Vladyslav Nikulin
— graphic design — mastering the Canva platform: design principles and the world of virtual reality; teachers are Oleksandr Yelagin and Darya Khmara
Also, as part of the project, a career orientation meeting was organized for students of Zaporizhia Gymnasium No. 106 with a successful graduate of the school, director of the Center “Education for Business”, professor of NU “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” Anastasia Zerkal, dedicated to the creation of a business idea.
The finale of the TechWay course was the award ceremony, where participants and organizers gathered. Vice-rector Ruslan Kulikovsky congratulated everyone and wished the schoolchildren to further develop their creative potential in the field of technology. All participants received certificates of participation.
