Polytech Welcome Tour: an introduction to the world of science and technology!
On August 27, students of the Extracurricular Education Institution «Zaporizhzhia Center for Cossack Military-Patriotic Education »School of Dzhur« took part in an exciting excursion around the university »Polytech Welcome Tour«.
Pro-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko and Director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University Olena Nazarova addressed the participants with welcoming remarks. They wished the students vivid impressions, new discoveries and boldly explore the world of science and technology.
The students visited the modern educational and scientific spaces of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, learned more about promising engineering and IT directions, and also tried themselves as future inventors and developers.
During the excursion, the students visited:

– Robotic Production Systems Engineering Center »HI-RISE«
– Master class »Software that Makes Money«
– Master class »Mechatronics and Automation of the Future«
The students saw how modern equipment works, in particular robotic systems, and learned about the possibilities of programming and automation.
We sincerely thank the teachers and staff of the university for preparing interesting locations and inspiring master classes, the director of the »School of Jur” Sergiy Ignatchenko for the initiative and organization of a group of students, and the participants for their activity, curiosity, and sincere interest in science and technology!
