Opening of the Educational Hub at Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University
On October 3, Zaporizhia Polytechnic University brought together teachers from the occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region to present the updated educational hub.
Reconstruction continued for several months and we finally opened our doors to those who need it most. For the high-quality modernization of the space, all the suggestions and wishes of the teachers were taken into account so that they could conduct their educational activities as comfortably as possible.

The event was opened by a representative of the USAID “Strengthening Public Trust” project, after which Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko from the university spoke, who told the story of the creation of the educational hub. He emphasized that the joint efforts of the university, educators, authorities and the public environment will significantly accelerate the recovery processes.
In addition to teachers and the vice-rector, the panel discussion was attended by Acting Head of the Education Department of the Energodar City Council Olena Rzhevska, Director of the Energodar Multi-Profile Lyceum Iryna Myatovych and Local Coordinator of the NGO Educated Initiative” Pavlo Karyakin.
The main topics of discussion were:
- Challenges of education in regions
- the place of the hub in the development of the educational system of the Zaporizhia region
- cooperation between state and educational institutions
- the role of public organizations in supporting educational initiatives
