Extended meeting of the students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic

On September 10, an extended meeting of the students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University was held at the FREETIME Youth Hub.

This is an annual meeting that helps first-year students get to know the student government, the student trade union, and the opportunities offered by the university. This time, they talked about the main areas of work, student initiatives, projects, and active life outside of couples.

The head of the student government, Anastasiia Steshenko, spoke about the activities of the student government, and the head of the student union, Svitlana Karpenko, spoke about the work of the student union.

Students spoke with representatives of various university departments:

• The work of the student self-government unit «Image-Group» was told by its head, Elizaveta Potapenko
• about TikTok direction — Mariia Chursina
• about the capabilities and activities of the international relations department — Sofiia Berezhna
• about dormitories, Student Self-Government Centers, settlement and accommodation — Illia Manzhos
• about the work of the Center for Promoting Employment of Students and Graduates — Mykyta Dorofeyev

Also during the meeting, upcoming events were presented: the Rector’s Cup in mini-football, the Talent Festival, and the Sports Week.

After the official part, the meeting continued in an informal atmosphere. We got to know each other, chatted, shared ideas, discussed student life, and simply had a great time together. And we also enjoyed pizza and drinks!

It is these kinds of meetings that help you find new friends, like-minded people, and inspiration for future student projects. Many more bright events and unforgettable moments await our first-year students!
