Representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University attended a screening of a film about the evacuation from Kostyantynivka and an exhibition about attacks on humanitarian missions
On September 4, representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, at the invitation of the Proliska humanitarian mission, took part in a closed screening of the documentary film «Kostyantynivka. Semi-encircled and on the verge» and visited the exhibition-installation «The Humanitarian System Under Attack».
The documentary shows the work of evacuation groups during the most difficult period, when Kostyantynivka was under daily Russian assaults, air strikes, and artillery shelling. The exhibition-installation clearly highlights the consequences of the targeted attacks of the Russian army on civilian volunteers.
Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko expressed his sincere gratitude to the «Proliska» team for their tireless work and saving human lives. The presence of educators has become an important symbol of solidarity with those experiencing the consequences of war and with humanitarian workers who risk their lives to help others.
Since 2014, the organization has provided comprehensive support to the affected population, and as of 2026, it operates in 13 regions of Ukraine (emergency evacuation, housing reconstruction, psychological assistance, social transportation, and shelter construction). Despite its exclusively civilian mandate, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the mission has been the target of Russian strikes more than 11 times – evacuation vehicles, offices, warehouses, and volunteers were shelled while performing their duties.
The screening in Zaporizhzhia took place as part of a large-scale documentary tour that runs from July to September 2026 throughout the country.
