Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University is a participant in the first module of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers

The team of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University joined the first module of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers, which is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the British Council within the framework of the project “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results”, which is being implemented with the support of the World Bank.

The first module was devoted to the topic “The role of the university in the context of social transformations”. Key areas were covered:

• modern European and national trends in the development of higher education
• values of social responsibility
• the concept of a pro-social university
• partnership with employers and development of dual education
• public service of the university
• models of interaction with the community
• best international practices (in particular, the case of Great Britain)

Participation in the Program allowed the university team to get acquainted with the best practices, to find new tools for effective interaction with the region and society, especially in the complex conditions of today.
