Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kushugum Village Council
On September 9, representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University visited Kushugum settlement community.
The delegation, led by the rector Viktor Greshta, consisted of the first vice-rector Serhii Shil, vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko, director of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Center of Polytechnic Education Tetyana Solovyova, dean of the Faculty of Humanities Tetyana Khitrova and head of the Department of Project Activities Maria Pavlenko.
The team visited the Kushugum school “Intellect”, where the university delegation emphasized the high-quality organization of the educational process in the community’s underground institution.
During the trip to the Park of Lovers, representatives of the Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic noted the process of transition of the Kushugum community to green energy, and also inspected sports venues.
The visit ended with a tour of the hospital’s safe space. A space for the elderly, a crisis room and a Greco-Roman wrestling club, “YouthHUB” – all this is in one place so that the residents of the community can spend their leisure time in a comfortable and protected environment.
During a visit to the Prestige underground school, Rector Viktor Greshta signed a memorandum of cooperation with Volodymyr Sosunovsky, the head of the Kushugum settlement council.
The activities of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic and the Kushugum community are aimed at implementing joint projects in the field of education aimed at the development of the Zaporizhia region.
The partnership will make it possible to develop scientific and technical activities, improve the quality of the provision of educational services at various levels, establish coordination and implementation of various youth initiatives, as well as improve the network of dual education and international partnership in the region.
Our cooperation will cover the social and cultural sphere, in particular the organization of projects in the field of non-formal education, the development of a culture of volunteering, mentoring and public activities.
