Investments in youth – investments in the future of Zaporizhzhia

A strategic dialogue «Human Capital of Zaporizhzhia: Investments in Youth and Partnership» was held in Zaporizhzhia, which brought together representatives of state authorities, local governments, businesses, higher education institutions and youth to jointly find solutions that will contribute to the development of the human capital of the region.

The main goal of the event was to unite the efforts of all stakeholders to create conditions in which young people can study, work, grow professionally and realize themselves in Zaporizhzhia.

NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» was represented at the event by the first vice-rector Serhiy Shylo, who took an active part in the strategic discussion dedicated to the issues of youth competitiveness in the modern labor market. During the third thematic circle «What is needed for competitiveness?» he emphasized the need to find new educational opportunities, develop modern competencies and constantly expand the professional horizons of young people. Today, the university should be a space where a student not only acquires a profession, but also forms skills that help to successfully adapt to rapid changes in the labor market and confidently build their own careers.

The participants of the strategic dialogue discussed the challenges facing young people, the prospects for the development of Zaporizhzhia, the role of education, business and the state in the formation of human capital, as well as mechanisms for supporting young specialists, developing partnerships and creating new opportunities for professional realization.

For Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, participation in such events is an important component of cooperation with the state, employers and the community. It is thanks to partnership that the university forms a modern educational environment, expands opportunities for students, promotes their professional development and trains specialists who are already working for the restoration and development of Ukraine today.
