Photo Contest «Svitlozir»

On March 6 and 13, 2013, within the walls of ZNTU, with the support of the Trade Union of Students and the administration of the university, representatives of the Zaporizhzhia branch of the Union of Photo Artists held master classes in photography for participants of the competition: «How people with vision problems see the world and how the world reacts to people with limited vision» within the framework of the city-wide program «Prevention of disability and blindness from eye diseases for 2012-2016».

The organizers of the photo contest are the Zaporizhzhia Regional Charitable Foundation «Svitlozir». It is held with the support of the Zaporizhzhia branch of the Union of Photo Artists of Ukraine. The purpose of this competition: to draw public attention to the problems of people with visual impairments through photography.

The master classes helped students, practitioners and beginners to gain the necessary skills in creating and processing high-quality social photography.

Based on the materials of the photo competition, photo exhibitions will be held in public places in Zaporizhzhia: (Mayor’s Office, regional administration, universities, regional library, theaters and galleries).

Participants of the competition and those who just want to become them can send their works by March 31, 2013 to the e-mail of the charitable foundation «Svitlozir»: svitlozir_fond@ukr.net and will be able to receive valuable gifts from sponsors.
