Day of mourning for those killed in Russian strike on Zaporizhia
May 6 has been declared a Day of Mourning in Zaporizhia for those killed in the Russian strike on the city.
The enemy attack was directed at civilian infrastructure – residential buildings and other objects in the city were damaged. The strike killed 12 people and injured dozens. Some of the injured are in hospitals, others are undergoing examinations and receiving necessary assistance. In total, more than three dozen injured people have been recorded.
This strike was carried out with guided aerial bombs and had no military meaning. This is another cynical act of violence against civilians, which once again confirms: the enemy is purposefully destroying life and the peaceful infrastructure of Ukrainian cities.
Today it is especially important to maintain unity, support each other and not forget: behind each number is human fate, family, pain and loss. Ukraine needs not temporary silence, but a complete cessation of attacks and real protection of life.
A bright memory of the deceased. Sincere condolences to all who lost their loved ones. We remember. And we will not forgive.
