About us
In 1965, the first electrical engineers graduated from the walls of the future Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic, and already in 1968, the Department of Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises was established. The appearance of the department was a challenge to the Zaporizhia region for the need for energy specialists, who were urgently needed by the Zaporizhstal, Dniprospetsstal, Aluminum plant, Titanium-magnesium plant, Motor-Sich, automobile plant, transformer plant, Converter and many others.
Over time, the acceleration of scientific and technical progress required the creation of energy-efficient, economical, reliable energy and electricity supply systems for industrial enterprises, cities, and agriculture; implementation of research in design, research and scientific-production institutions.
Therefore, the Department of Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises and its staff chose the direction of training in-demand energy specialists.
