Regulations on the department
The department prepares specialists in the specialty A7 "Physical culture and sports" under the programs "Sports and coaching" (bachelor's degree) and "Organization of physical culture and sports activities" (master's), as well as doctors of philosophy in the specialty A1 "Educational sciences". Training is carried out in full-time, part-time and dual forms on a budget and contract basis. Highly qualified specialists teach: doctors of science, professors, honored workers of physical culture and sports of Ukraine, masters of sports, judges of the international category. Training combines modern methods and cooperation with sports organizations for practical training. The mission of the department is quality education in the field of physical culture and sports, development of the sports potential of youth, training of specialists for coaching, educational, managerial and scientific activities. The uniqueness of the department is a combination of scientific base, educational innovations, grant projects, international partnership and orientation to the needs of the South-Eastern region of Ukraine, which ensures the training of competitive specialists.
