About the department
The "Occupational and Environmental Protection" Department of the National University "Zaporizhia Polytechnic" is an important center for the training of specialists in the field of occupational health and safety, life safety, civil protection and environmental safety. Its uniqueness lies in an interdisciplinary approach to the formation of students' competencies in preventing professional risks, responding to emergency situations, and preserving the environment.
The department's mission is to train competitive, responsible specialists who are able to effectively implement safety principles in industrial, technogenic and social spheres. The department is aimed at developing students' systemic thinking, the ability to analyze risks, make management decisions, and implement innovations in the field of labor and environmental protection. Its activities contribute to the formation of a safety culture in society and the sustainable development of industry in the region and the country.

Educational laboratory of life safety and labor protection
The educational laboratory "Life Safety and Occupational Health" is intended for conducting laboratory and practical classes, performing relevant sections in diploma projects, as well as for carrying out scientific work at the "Occupational and Environmental Protection" department.
