Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic became a member of the scientific and methodical commissions (subcommissions) of the higher education sector of the Scientific and Methodical Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the personal composition of scientific and methodological commissions (subcommittee) of the higher education sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture
The composition included 12 representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University:
- associate professor of the department of physical culture, Olympic and non-Olympic sports Boris Kokarev — NMK1 on education, subcommittee A7 Physical culture and sports
NMK 6 on information technologies:
- Head of the Department of Software Serhiy Subbotin — Subcommittee F2 Software Engineering
- Professor of the Department of Software Andrii Oliynyk — Subcommittee F3 Computer Sciences
- Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Systems and Networks Stepan Skrupskyi — Subcommittee F7 Computer Engineering
NMK 7 on engineering, production and construction:
- dean of the faculty Nataliya Furmanova — subcommittee G5 Electronics, electronic communications, instrumentation and radio engineering
- Professor of the Department of Physical Materials Science Vasyl Girzhon – subcommittee G8 Materials Science
- head of the department of integrated welding technologies and structural modeling Oleksiy Kapustyan — subcommittee G9 Applied Mechanics
- Head of the Department of Foundry Machines and Technologies Valerii Ivanov — Subcommittee G10 Metallurgy
- head of the department of metal-cutting machines and tools Mykhailo Frolov — subcommittee G11 Mechanical engineering (by specializations)
- Associate Professor of the Department of Aviation Engine Technologies Olha Babenko — Subcommittee G12 Aviation and Rocket Space Engineering

- dean of the transport faculty Oleksiy Kuzkin — subcommittee J8 Automobile transport
Elected members of scientific and methodical commissions (subcommissions) will begin work on a line of new generation higher education standards, which will be an important component of the comprehensive transformation of the higher education system.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, the standards of higher education will be gradually updated over the next year.
