I All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Higher Education Students and Young Scientists «Current Problems and Prospects for the Development of the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation Sector»
23 жовтня кафедра туристичного, готельного та ресторанного бізнесу НУ «Запорізька політехніка» провела I Всеукраїнську науково-практичну конференцію здобувачів вищої освіти та молодих учених «Актуальні проблеми та перспективи розвитку сфери гостинності, туризму та рекреації», що присвячена 125–й річниці Національного університету «Запорізька політехніка».
У роботі конференції взяли участь понад 300 учасників, серед яких 175 здобувачів вищої освіти, аспірантів, докторантів, молодих вчених, понад 120 представників закладів вищої освіти, практиків сфери туризму, готельно-ресторанного бізнесу та рекреації. Завдяки широкій представленості учасників з усіх регіонів України було забезпечено різноплановість наукових підходів, глибокий обмін досвідом і конструктивний діалог між представниками різних наукових шкіл.
Особливо цінними стали наукові напрацювання учасників, спрямовані на комплексне дослідження сучасних тенденцій розвитку готельно-ресторанного та туристичного бізнесу в Україні, ролі місцевих спільнот у формуванні туристичного потенціалу в умовах воєнного та повоєнного періоду, а також пошуку ефективних механізмів відновлення індустрії гостинності.
Представлені дослідження охоплюють широкий спектр актуальних питань: від концептуальних підходів до створення готельних підприємств і бренду туристичної дестинації на основі локальної ідентичності до впровадження цифрових технологій, штучного інтелекту та інноваційних управлінських рішень у сфері туризму. Акцент зроблено на економічних аспектах функціонування галузі, розвитку міжнародного туризму, популяризації культурної спадщини прикордонних регіонів, а також використанні туризму як чинника соціальної реабілітації та повоєнного відновлення України.

On 23 October, the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University held the First All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference for higher education students and young scientists, ‘Current Issues and Prospects for the Development of Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation,’ dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
More than 300 participants took part in the conference, including 175 higher education students, postgraduates, doctoral students, young scientists, more than 120 representatives of higher education institutions, professionals in the field of tourism, hotel and restaurant business, and recreation. Thanks to the wide representation of participants from all regions of Ukraine, a diversity of scientific approaches, a deep exchange of experience and a constructive dialogue between representatives of different scientific schools were ensured.
Particularly valuable were the scientific achievements of the participants aimed at a comprehensive study of current trends in the development of the hotel, restaurant and tourism business in Ukraine, the role of local communities in shaping tourism potential in wartime and post-war conditions, as well as the search for effective mechanisms for restoring the hospitality industry.
The presented research covers a wide range of topical issues: from conceptual approaches to the creation of hotel enterprises and tourist destination brands based on local identity to the introduction of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and innovative management solutions in the field of tourism. The emphasis is on the economic aspects of the industry’s functioning, the development of international tourism, the promotion of the cultural heritage of border regions, and the use of tourism as a factor in the social rehabilitation and post-war recovery of Ukraine.
