Academic integrity

Ensuring the quality of education at the level of world standards is inextricably linked with the concept of academic integrity. This issue is especially relevant for future graduates preparing to defend bachelor’s and master’s theses.

Academic integrity is a set of ethical principles and legally defined rules that must be followed by participants in the educational process during training, teaching and conducting scientific (creative) activities in order to ensure trust in the results of training and/or scientific (creative) achievements.

On December 9, 2019, a lecture on the topic of «Academic Integrity» was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. Professor Bakhrushin Volodymyr Yevgenych, a member of the national team of experts on the reform of higher education, provided comprehensive information on the conceptual apparatus of integrity, methods and means of checking works for plagiarism. Issues of organizing the internal quality of education were discussed.
