Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Media

About us
The Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Devices was established in 1970. At that time, it was called «Design and Technology of Radio Equipment Production» and was part of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering.
Since 1970, the department has been training specialists in the specialty «Production of Electronic Devices». Since 2011, the department has received a new name «Information Technologies of Electronic Devices», which better reflects the modern direction of the department's scientific and educational work. Currently, the department is training bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in specialty 172 «Electronic Communications and Radio Engineering», as well as bachelors and masters in specialty 174 «Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics». The main direction of the department's scientific work is electronic devices and systems, design automation systems, and automation of technological processes. Close scientific ties have been established with leading enterprises of Zaporizhzhia: SOE «KP »Iskra«, SE »Ivchenko-Progress«, LLC »SPE «Khartron-UKOM», PJSC «Pluton», and small and medium-sized businesses: LLC «Infocom LTD», LLC «Azov Controls», LLC «SPE »Impuls«», as well as with scientific schools of Ukraine. During its existence, the department has educated more than ten thousand graduates.
