Scalable Electronic Document Workflow for Universities
Enhancing Efficiency, Autonomy and European Integration (SEDWU)

SEDWU is an international project funded under the Erasmus+ Programme (Capacity Building in Higher Education), aimed at the development and implementation of a scalable, secure, and interoperable electronic document management system for universities.
The project seeks to enhance the efficiency of administrative processes, transparency, digital autonomy, and institutional resilience of Ukrainian higher education institutions, as well as to foster their integration into the European Education and Digital Area.

Special Focus Areas and Objectives
Special Focus Areas:
- harmonisation of university administrative processes with European practices;
- data protection and information security;
- reduction of paper-based document workflows;
- enhancement of digital competences of university staff;
- application of innovative approaches, including AI-supported tools for document processing.
Project Objectives: analysis and comparison of document management practices in Ukrainian and EU universities; development of functional and technical requirements for the system; implementation and testing of pilot solutions; strengthening managerial and digital capacities of university staff.
