A student of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University won a bronze medal at the XXV Summer Deaflympics as part of the Ukrainian national basketball team

Congratulations to Kateryna Chernysh, a student of UFKS-114 of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, on winning the bronze medal of the XXV Summer Deaflympics as part of the Ukrainian national basketball team.

The Summer Deaflympics are prestigious international competitions that bring together the strongest athletes from around the world. In 2025, they will be held from November 15 to 26 in Tokyo (Japan).

In the decisive match for bronze, the Ukrainian women’s basketball team won a convincing victory over the Italian team with a score of 70:57!

We are proud of the achievement of our student, who worthily represents Ukraine and the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University on the international arena!
