To train high-level specialists who possess fundamental knowledge and practical skills in social security and management of a social institution and are able to apply them for the purpose of effective management in the social sphere; meeting the needs of society and the state in modern quality education to increase human capital, quality of life and development of the Zaporizhzhia industrial region
Teaching and Assessment
– a description of the main approaches, methods and technologies provided by the program (for example, student-centered learning, self-learning, learning based on laboratory practice);
– intensive nature of training (all classes are based on the active involvement of students in the educational process (discussions, business games, work in mini-games, exchange of experiences);
– practical orientation (examples and situational exercises from the practice of social institutions operating in Ukraine are widely used);
– modular training format (the combination of instructional sessions and independent work of students makes it possible to obtain a full-fledged higher education without breaking away from the main production activity);
– use of innovative technologies (possibility of independent work of students using electronic textbooks and manuals, use of multimedia technologies, remote work using moodle.zp.ua, zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).

Resource Provision
Teachers who ensure the implementation of the educational program for the training of specialists in the specialty «Social welfare» are specialists in the disciplines assigned to them, have theoretical training, practical experience and the availability of scientific publications on the relevant subject. Leading specialists in social sphere management are also involved.

Ensuring an effective system for the prevention and detection of academic plagiarism in the scientific works of employees of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and students of higher education, compliance with the norms of the Code of Ethics of the Scientist of Ukraine and other procedures and measures that ensure the fulfillment of the Licensing conditions for conducting educational activities by educational institutions (Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 30, 2015 No. 1187 «On approval of licensing conditions for conducting educational activities of educational institutions», Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 24, 2021 No. 365 «On Amendments to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 30, 2015 No. 1187»).

Attestation
The certification of specialists is carried out in the form of a public defense of a qualifying master’s thesis.
Qualifying master’s work should testify to the formation of general and professional competences in the field of professional activity and contain conclusions and proposals based on the results of analytical and experimental research aimed at solving an actual scientific and practical problem of management in the social sphere.
The qualifying work must pass a plagiarism check and be published on the official website of the relevant division of the higher education institution.
Qualification work is subject to independent expert evaluation (review) by scientists and management specialists in the social sphere.
Attestation of applicants of the educational and professional program of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty I10 «Social work and counseling» is carried out in the form of a public defense of the qualification work and ends with the issuance of a diploma with the assignment of the qualification: degree of higher education – master’s degree, specialty I10 «Social work and counseling». Attestation is carried out openly and publicly.
