• Conducting lectures, practical and laboratory classes, trainings; organizing master classes, round tables, scientific conferences and seminars; involving students in participating in project work, competitions, olympiads and scientific and research activities;
• Involving qualified practitioners in conducting classes. – Classes are mainly held in small groups with subject discussions;
• Writing and defense of a qualification paper, which is presented and discussed with the participation of teachers, practitioners, and students;
• Innovative distance learning technologies are used using online platforms to conduct classes.

Student learning outcomes are assessed during control activities. Control activities include current and final control.

The task of current control is to check the understanding and mastery of skills in performing graphic and calculation-graphic tasks, in the classroom or during independent work; preparation and defense of essays; defense of graphic and calculation-graphic works. For the purpose of the Final control is carried out in order to assess the results of learning at the appropriate educational level or at its individual final stages. Final control includes semester control and student certification. Semester control is carried out in the form of a semester exam or a differentiated test in a specific academic discipline in the volume of educational material determined by the curriculum within the terms established by the curriculum. To control residual knowledge, KKR are held every semester.

The academic disciplines for which KKR and RKR are planned, and the terms of control measures are determined by the working curriculum.

The assessment of students’ academic achievements is carried out on a 100-point scale or on a two-point scale (counted and uncounted). Forms of control: current, milestone and final. Assessment tools: exams, tests, course projects, report on pre-diploma practice. Positive assessments for all forms of control are scores from 60 to 100 points. Final certification is carried out in the form of a public defense of the qualification work.

The implementation of educational activities within the framework of the implementation of the educational program is provided by scientific and pedagogical (pedagogical) employees necessary for the implementation of educational components, in accordance with the current Licensing Conditions for the implementation of educational activities. The share of scientific and pedagogical (pedagogical) employees who have a scientific degree and/or academic title, work at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University at their main place of work and teach in the educational program «Architecture and Urban Planning» of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education is 50%. Scientific and pedagogical employees who implement the educational component are active and recognized scientists, the vast majority have scientific degrees and academic titles, publish works in domestic and foreign scientific publications, have a confirmed level of scientific and professional activity. appropriate professional competence and experience in the profile of the disciplines in which they are involved. Leading specialists in architecture and urban planning, heads and representatives of architectural workshops, unions of architects and chambers of architects of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia region are invited to conduct consultations and open classes. Highly qualified specialists in architecture and urban planning are invited to chair the EC.

Educational, domestic, and sports facilities where classes are held comply with sanitary standards and regulations, state building standards of Ukraine. Available: educational facilities, computer classes, a library, reading rooms, wireless Internet access points, a sports complex, dormitories, dining rooms, a sanatorium-dispensary, recreation centers, etc.

The classrooms of the Department of Design are equipped with multimedia equipment for conducting lectures and are adapted to work with computers for performing practical tasks. Specialized software tools have been installed in the computer classrooms of the Department of Design to support activities in the specialty 191 «Architecture and Urban Planning».

The methodological material for the educational program is periodically updated and adapted taking into account the goals of the educational program and current trends in the development of the industry. The university has access to the Uran fiber-optic network, which provides operational access to information, exchange, distribution, accumulation and processing for conducting scientific research, distance learning, functioning of electronic libraries, conducting teleconferences, implementing remote monitoring methods, etc.

Ensuring an effective system for preventing and detecting academic plagiarism in scientific works of employees of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and higher education applicants, compliance with the norms of the Code of Ethics of a Scientist of Ukraine and other procedures and measures that ensure the implementation of the current Licensing Conditions for the Conduct of Educational Activities by Educational Institutions.

According to clause 2.7 Regulations on the educational process at the university and the formation of an individual educational trajectory of applicants is ensured through:
1. Ensuring the right of applicants to choose academic disciplines and form individual curricula within the limits determined by legislation, (Regulations on the procedure for choosing academic disciplines by applicants of higher education of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University ).
2. Promoting academic mobility of education seekers (Regulations on the procedure for exercising the right to academic mobility of participants in the educational process of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University). A student, in addition to studying mandatory OCs at a partner higher education institution, has the right to independently choose additional OCs.
3. Recognition of the results of previous studies within the limits determined by higher education standards. Applicants who have entered studies on the basis of a previously obtained level of higher or professional pre-higher education may have their learning outcomes and ECTS credits partially credited to the extent that depends on the specialty of previous education, but not more than 120 ECTS credits from a junior bachelor’s program, 60 ECTS credits from a professional junior bachelor’s program.

5. Selection of the practice base, topics of course projects and final qualification works – individual curricula are formed

According to the procedure for implementing the right to academic mobility, the learning outcomes of applicants participating in the academic mobility program in partner institutions of higher education (including foreign ones, see Regulations on the implementation of projects of international cooperation programs and management of grant funds at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University are mutually recognized, as are the previous learning outcomes of foreigners, refugees and other persons studying at «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» under the academic mobility program (Regulations on the Department of International Activities and Work with Foreign Students), which ensures a joint «European Higher Education Area».

Education of foreign students may be carried out in accordance with the requirements of current legislation and requirements of the University in accordance with current regulations

Certification of higher education applicants in the educational and professional program «Architecture and Urban Planning» specialty 191 «Architecture and Urban Planning» is carried out in the form of a public defense of a bachelor’s qualification work (diploma project)

A qualification work (diploma project) involves solving a complex specialized creative task or practical problem in the field of architecture and urban planning, characterized by the complexity of approaches using theories and methods of architectural and urban planning design.

A qualification work must not contain academic plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification.

A qualification work must be published in the repository of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

The publication of qualification works containing information with limited access is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation.
