The educational program «Metal Cutting Machine Tools and Systems» trains specialists in the field of mechanical engineering who are able to design, model, program and operate modern metalworking equipment and tools. Students master machining technologies, CAD/CAM systems, CNC machines, automated design, technical measurements and quality management, acquiring practical skills for work in modern mechanical engineering production.
The program combines fundamental engineering training with a practical orientation and modern digital technologies. During training, applicants study mechanical processing processes, cutting theory, metalworking equipment, cutting tools, technological foundations of mechanical engineering, design of machine tools and tools, software processing in CAM systems, operation and maintenance of machine tools.
Special attention is paid to the use of modern CAD/CAM solutions for 3D modeling, product design and creation of control programs for CNC machine tools. Practical training is carried out using modern software, machine tools, 3D printers and scanners, measuring and research systems.
