To make a worthy contribution to the development of the Ukrainian state and society, the South-Eastern region of Ukraine by training competent specialists capable of solving complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of labor economics and HR technologies, through the implementation of the following goals:
1. To form highly educated and nationally conscious specialists in the field of labor economics and HR technologies, capable of analyzing and effectively using human capital, making informed decisions in the field of social and labor relations, applying modern HR technologies, as well as contributing to increasing labor productivity, developing employment, and strengthening the socio-economic potential of the state and the region.
2. To promote the formation of the ability of applicants to ensure socio-economic efficiency, safety, and sustainable development of labor processes, taking into account modern labor market challenges, demographic changes, migration processes, the development of digital employment and new forms of labor organization, as well as the need to develop the human capital of Ukraine.
3. Integrate the results of fundamental and applied economic research, modern achievements in the field of labor economics, HR technologies and data analytics, as well as the innovative experience of professional communities and stakeholders into the educational program in order to form a modern educational environment focused on the development of analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex professional tasks while adhering to the principles of academic integrity.
4. Provide conditions for the comprehensive development of the personality of applicants by implementing a student-centered approach, developing individual educational trajectories, activating academic mobility, using digital educational platforms, as well as increasing the motivation and involvement of applicants through partnerships with stakeholders and professional communities that form the ability to teamwork, communication and continuous professional development.

Teaching and learning under the educational program are carried out on the basis of student-centered, problem-oriented and research approaches, ensuring an individual educational trajectory for applicants. The educational process is aimed at the formation of analytical, managerial and research competencies and involves a combination of theoretical training with practice-oriented training.

The educational process is focused on making informed decisions based on data (data-driven approach) in the field of labor economics and HR technologies.

Modern teaching methods are used, including problem lectures, case methods, business games, trainings, analysis of real situations in the field of labor economics and HR technologies, as well as the implementation of individual and group projects. Considerable attention is paid to the use of digital technologies, information and analytical systems and data processing tools.

The independent work of applicants is carried out using electronic educational resources, in particular the Moodle platform, and is aimed at developing self-education skills, critical thinking and the ability to learn throughout life.

The educational and research component is implemented through the implementation of scientific research, pre-graduate practice and preparation of qualification work with the involvement of practitioners and representatives of the professional environment.

The assessment is focused on testing the ability of applicants to apply knowledge in practice and make informed decisions based on data analysis.

The assessment of the learning outcomes of higher education applicants is carried out in order to determine the level of achievement of program learning outcomes and involves the use of various forms of control: current, modular and final. Current control includes the assessment of participation in practical and seminar classes, the performance of individual and group tasks, cases, analytical works and projects. Final control is carried out in the form of exams, tests, defense of a practice report and public defense of a qualification work.

The assessment is carried out on a 100-point scale or on a two-point scale («passed» / «not passed») in accordance with current regulatory documents. The assessment criteria are clear, transparent and are communicated to applicants at the beginning of studying the educational components.

The assessment system ensures objectivity, transparency and compliance of learning outcomes with the requirements of the educational program and is aimed at developing applicants’ ability to self-monitor, critically analyze and make informed decisions.

All scientific and pedagogical workers involved in the implementation of the educational program meet the educational and/or professional qualifications of scientific and pedagogical workers in accordance with the current Licensing Conditions for the Conduct of Educational Activities. The share of scientific and pedagogical workers (ensuring the educational process in the educational program) who have a scientific degree and/or an academic title and work at their main place of work is 90 percent. Of these, persons who have a scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences and/or an academic title of professor account for more than 15 percent.

The material and technical support of the program meets the licensing requirements for the provision of educational services in the field of higher education and allows organizing and conducting classes in all educational components at a high level. Multimedia projectors are used for lecture classes, and classrooms are equipped with the necessary computer equipment. The necessary social and household infrastructure is available: dormitories; sports facilities; catering facilities. Higher education students who need it are provided with a dormitory.

The safety of the educational environment in martial law conditions is ensured by the availability of appropriately equipped shelters.

National credit mobility is regulated by the Regulations on the procedure for exercising the right to academic mobility of participants in the educational process of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

The right to academic mobility is exercised on the basis of agreements on cooperation in the field of education and science, educational and scientific programs and projects, agreements on cooperation between NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» and domestic higher education institutions (https://zp.edu.ua/pro-universitet/university-partners/), and can also be implemented by employees and students of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» on their own initiative, supported by the administration of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic», on the basis of individual invitations and other procedures.

The Department of Economics and Customs is the initiator and responsible unit for the implementation of cooperation agreements with the Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus, the University of Customs and Finance

Agreement on cooperation with Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus and with University of Customs and Finance with the possibility of implementing academic mobility of participants in the educational process.

International credit mobility is regulated by the Regulations on the procedure for exercising the right to academic mobility of participants in the educational process of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

Students have the opportunity to participate in the international credit program Erasmus+KAL, programs of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD. The University has interinstitutional agreements, according to which students have the opportunity to exercise their rights to academic mobility in the following universities: Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany), Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain).

The university has the right to train foreign students. The education of foreign applicants for higher education is regulated by the Regulations on the organization of recruitment and training (internship) of foreigners and stateless persons at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University

Certification is carried out in the form of a public defense of the qualification work

The qualification work involves the independent solution of a complex task or a complex problem in the field of economics, which is accompanied by research and/or the application of innovative approaches and is characterized by the uncertainty of conditions and requirements.

The qualification work must not contain academic plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification.

The qualification work must be published by placing it in the repository of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

The publication of qualification works containing information with limited access must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the law.
