ChallengeEU – European Universities Alliance is an alliance of nine European universities established under the European Universities Initiative of the European Union. It brings universities and their academic communities together to transform higher education and to develop international cooperation, research and innovation.
The mission of ChallengeEU is to shape a new generation of Europeans able to study, work and collaborate without borders, grounded in European values, mutual respect, openness and responsibility to society.
ChallengeEU seeks to transform the traditional model of higher education by bringing together universities, students, researchers, business, public authorities and local communities. The alliance is building a shared European education area in which knowledge, research and innovation help find practical answers to today’s societal challenges.
