Educational Department
The Academic Department ensures the planning, organization and coordination of the educational process at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The task of the department is to create effective conditions for high-quality education of students and support for scientific and pedagogical staff.
In its activities, the educational department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine «On Higher Education», «On Education», resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, regulatory acts of the university and the Regulations on the educational department.
Main functions of the educational department
Organization of the educational process:
- planning and organization of the educational process;
- control of the compliance of curricula and work plans with educational programs;
- formation of generalized curricula;
- organization of the work of examination committees;
- Implementation and development of the dual form of education.
Coordination activities:
- coordination of the work of faculties, departments and other structural units;
- organization of cooperation with practice databases;
- interaction with student government bodies.
Control and monitoring:
- monitoring of learning outcomes;
- analysis of the results of certification of higher education applicants;
- control over the implementation of the rector’s orders and instructions.
Automation and digitalization:
- implementation and maintenance of an automated educational process management system;
- implementation and development of the distance learning system;
- update information in EDEBO.
Document management and reporting:
- development of regulatory and methodological documents;
- preparation of annual statistical reporting;
- preparation of orders for the production of student tickets;
- calculation of the need for teaching staff and accounting for the hourly fund;
- analysis and dissemination of best practices in educational activities.
