Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics
Year of foundation of the department: 1903
About us
Our mission is to train highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of mechanics. We combine deep theoretical knowledge with practical skills, using modern teaching methods and advanced scientific research.
Our goal is to educate a new generation of engineers and scientists capable of solving complex engineering and scientific problems. We form in students systems thinking, skills in designing, analyzing and optimizing mechanical systems, and also encourage the development of innovative solutions. This will allow us to become a driving force in the country's technological development and successfully realize ourselves in the labor market.
The department provides teaching of normative and selective educational components of general engineering training.

Mechanical testing training laboratory
Provides students with practical skills in working with research equipment, computing equipment, measuring equipment, experimental research methods through full-scale or simulation experiments. It is used in the research work of the members of the department.
