About us
The Department "Machines and Technology of Foundry Production" of the National University "Zaporizhia Polytechnic" ensures the training of highly qualified mechanics and foundry workers who will contribute to the development of both domestic and foreign metallurgical and machine-building enterprises, the formation of their competitiveness and integration in the world. The educational process combines fundamental engineering education with modern scientific research and practical training that meets the current needs of the metallurgical and machine-building industries.
The mission of the department is to provide high-quality training of specialists in the field of foundry production, able to work effectively in the conditions of modern technological challenges. The department combines educational, research and innovation activities aimed at the development of foundry processes, machines and technologies taking into account the needs of Ukrainian industry and world trends

Material and technical base of the department
Educational laboratory of artistic Lithuanian
Ensures that students acquire practical skills in artistic processing of metals, production of foundry equipment and working with equipment
Educational laboratory of foundry molds and mixtures
Ensures that students acquire practical skills in the preparation and testing of foundry mixtures, the manufacture of molds and rods
Training laboratory of special methods of electrometallurgy
Provides students with practical skills in chemical analysis and testing of metals, melting technology of various alloys and use of equipment for special casting methods
Educational and production workshop
Ensures the acquisition by students of education of practical skills in the field of metrology, operation and maintenance of equipment and tools for the manufacture of equipment
