The dormitory was built in 1980. It is a nine-story building with a capacity of 645 residents, comprising 248 rooms, of which 78 are double rooms and 170 are triple rooms. It is a co-ed dormitory housing male and female students as well as international students. Every room has Internet access. The dormitory is organized into blocks, with four blocks on each floor. Each block consists of eight rooms, a kitchen, a washbasin, and a toilet.

The dormitory staff includes: a director, an assistant director, a registration clerk, a housekeeper, an elevator operator, six cleaning ladies, two janitors, a plumber, and an electrician.

The dormitory has a student council consisting of the chair of the dormitory student council and floor representatives. They actively engage in educational, advocacy, and organizational work among the students. The dormitory student council regularly organizes student leisure activities: contests, sports competitions, holiday discos, and so on.

In 2010, turnstiles were purchased, installed, and put into operation at Dormitory No. 4 to prevent violations of residence rules, theft, fights, and damage to personal property and dormitory property; these turnstiles are currently functioning successfully.

Each dormitory resident has been issued an access card bearing their last name, first name, patronymic, academic group number, and the room number where the student resides. All residents have been warned of the possible consequences (eviction from the dormitory) if they transfer their access card to others.

To maintain order in the dormitory, sixteen surveillance cameras have been installed: two of them face the dormitory balconies (the rear side of the dormitory), one in the laundry room, three at the doorman’s station near the turnstile, one near the entrance to the dormitory’s student government center, one at the dormitory entrance, one at the entrance to the dormitory grounds, and two in the dormitory’s rear courtyard. The presence of cameras ensures protection against unauthorized entry into the dormitory and allows for monitoring of the surrounding area.

To maintain proper living conditions in the dormitory, a large number of ongoing repairs are constantly being carried out: repairs to bathrooms, cosmetic repairs to floors and kitchens, and major renovations of some blocks have been completed.

The Student Self-Government Center is located on the dormitory grounds.

The center offers a gym, a conference room (for training sessions, meetings, etc.), and a computer lab with free internet access. The center also has a room for hosting cultural and social events.

A fitness room is located on the fourth floor.

A classroom is located on the first floor.

The stoves operate around the clock, without interruption.

The dormitory’s electricians closely monitor the electric stoves, promptly carrying out necessary repairs and replacing faulty parts.

There are two convenient elevators available, operating from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Students can use bed linens free of charge, which they receive from the dormitory supervisor on the first floor. The linens are in good condition and are ironed regularly. Students are entitled to exchange their bedding for clean linens every 10 days.

All dorm rooms are equipped with new wardrobes, beds, nightstands, and other furnishings. Most students have orthopedic mattresses. There is a storage room on the first floor.
