Art project “Ours”

On March 28, the opening of the memorial exhibition of the art project “Nashi” dedicated to Artem Tymchenko took place at the Metallurgical Complex.

The author of the project, artist Oksana Shabas, through art comprehends the experience of war, losses, and gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers. “Ours” is a space of memory and gratitude, where personal stories are revealed through pain, the power of struggle and the indomitable desire to live on.

The exhibition presents more than 100 portraits of defenders and veterans – those who defended and continue to defend Ukraine, as well as those who, unfortunately, died.

The Director of the Museum of the History of Technical Progress of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, Natalia Derkach, asked Oksana Shabas to paint portraits of graduates of our university who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
