Report of the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Viktor Greshta

On December 23, during the meeting of the conference of the labor team of the university, which was joined by the members of the supervisory board of the university and the students of the Polytechnic, Viktor Greshta, the rector of the NU «Zaporizka Polytechnic» presented a report on the fulfillment of the terms of the contract in 2025.

The year 2025 for the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is a year of strategic stability, scaling up achievements and strengthening the role of the university as a center of science, innovation and development of the region in wartime conditions.

During the year, the Polytechnic not only kept pace, but also significantly strengthened its position. The university continued the diversification of funding sources, the development of science-intensive projects and the implementation of management solutions that ensure stability and growth prospects.

🎓 The key accents of the year are innovation and science. Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic actively developed its own ecosystem of innovations: the European Digital Innovation Hub, the Energy Innovation Hub, the Science Park, and the Qualification Center worked. The university expanded its participation in international scientific and educational programs, in particular within the framework of Horizon Europe, Erasmus+ and other European initiatives.

International cooperation in 2025 has reached a new level: more partnerships, joint projects, academic mobility and opportunities for students and scientists. The Polytechnic is consistently integrated into the European educational and research space, while remaining at the same time a support for the region.

The university continues modernization of educational programs, digitization of processes, development of dual education and cooperation with business. Career orientation work, new formats of communication with schoolchildren and colleges, events for young people — all this builds trust and interest in higher education in Zaporizhzhia.

🤝 In 2025, the university remained a reliable educational and humanitarian rear: supporting students and teachers, volunteering, helping internally displaced persons, the work of the Educational Hub for displaced teachers. The polytechnic continues to work, teach, research and hold the community together.
