Meeting with the representative of the National Association of Lawyers of Ukraine in the Czech Republic Vadym Lavrovsky and member of the Zaporizhzhia Region Bar Council Dmytro Maistra
On December 19, Viktor Hreshta, rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, met with the representative of the National Association of Lawyers of Ukraine in the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary), lawyer Vadym Lavrovsky, and a member of the Zaporizhzhia Region Bar Council, lawyer Dmytro Maistra.
During the meeting, the ways and directions of possible cooperation and partnership projects of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University with Czech higher education institutions and research institutions were discussed, in particular Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is interested in cooperation with Karlovy Vary Polytechnic, which is scheduled to open in 2025.
Cooperation with the Czech side is possible thanks to the memorandum of cooperation signed in December 2023 between the Zaporizhzhia Region and the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic (the comprehensive Memorandum of Cooperation was signed thanks to the direct participation of NAAU representative in the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary) Vadym Lavrivskyi).
Zaporizka Polytechnic University is a leading European-level educational institution with a strong scientific and pedagogical base, in particular, we offer unique developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
University Rector Viktor Greshta presented thanks from the university to NAAU representative, lawyer Vadym Lavrovsky and lawyer Dmytro Maistr for facilitating the opening at the university of the Cabinet-Museum of the History of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Bar Association and significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists.
Guests of the university handed over new exhibits to the Museum of Advocacy, in particular the text of the Oath of a lawyer of Ukraine and Stamps and Seals of the College and Council of Advocates of the Zaporizhzhia Region (1980s – early 2020s), and also held a guest lecture for students and teachers of the Faculty of Law on the peculiarities of advocacy and professional ethics of a lawyer in the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
