The course «TechWay ZP: choose your future in tech» has ended
On June 12, participants gathered for the finale of the course implemented by the Center for Support of Public Initiatives «Free UA» and the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. It was attended by 230 young people who immersed themselves in the world of technology for a month: they studied, tried, and created.
Thanks to the TechWay course, teenagers from Zaporizhzhia became convinced that technology can be usefully applied in everyday life and turned into a career!
The course consisted of three areas that covered the most relevant topics:
— software that makes money — the basics of modern 3D modeling: developing and manufacturing your own 3D designs for souvenirs; teacher — Serhiy Tanchenko
— 3D printing — working with the Bambulab slicer: setting up print parameters and creating real 3D objects; teachers — Dmytro Perveev and Vladyslav Nikulin
— graphic design — mastering the Canva platform: design principles and the world of virtual reality; teachers — Oleksandr Yelagin and Darya Khmara
Also, as part of the project, a career guidance meeting was organized for students of Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 106 with Anastasiia Zerkal, a successful school graduate, director of the Center for Education for Business, and professor at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, dedicated to creating a business idea.
The TechWay course ended with an awards ceremony, where participants and organizers gathered. Vice-Rector Ruslan Kulikovsky congratulated everyone and wished the students further development of their creative potential in the field of technology. All participants received certificates of participation.
Thank you to everyone who made this course possible — our instructors, partners, donors, and participants!
