Meeting of the Academic Council of the University on June 24, 2024
On June 24, a meeting of the Academic Council of the University took place.
The following issues were discussed during the Scientific Council:
- making changes to the structure of the university
- state and development prospects of the campus infrastructure
- approval of the limit of scholarship recipients for the 1st semester of 2024-2025, as well as recommendations for the appointment of scholarships of all levels
- approval of the limit of persons who are enrolled in the first year of study and who will be awarded an academic scholarship before the first semester control.
- recommendations for publication of scientific and educational publications
- approval of educational programs of the third level of higher education «Psychology», specialty 053 «Psychology»; of the first level of higher education «Industrial information technologies, automation and robotics», fields of knowledge 17 «Electronics, automation and electronic communications», 174 «Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics»
- results of the study on the assessment of the quality of the educational process of higher education applicants in 2023/24
- amendments to the 2024 Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Admission Rules
- creation of a one-time specialized academic council for acceptance for consideration and conducting a one-time defense of Denys Molochkov’s dissertation
At the Academic Council, teachers and employees of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic were also awarded: Serhiy Subbotin, head of the Department of Software, was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Education and Culture «For Scientific and Educational Achievements». The certificate of a corresponding member of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine was received by the dean of the electrical engineering faculty, Mykola Antonov, and the head of the department of power supply of industrial enterprises, Oleksandr Shram. The head of the educational and methodological department Andrii Parkhomenka, the methodologist of the 1st category of the educational and methodological department Tetyana Sytnikova were awarded with badges «For impeccable work» II degree; III degree — senior researcher, associate professor Serhii Ryagin, head of the laboratory Vadym Cherep, head of the laboratory Svitlana Mesnyankina, leading specialist of the Faculty of Economics and Management Viktoriia Panchaikina. A certificate from the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council was awarded to the leading specialist of the department, Olena Bugayova; Thanks to the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration — Assistant Professor of the Department of Labor and Environmental Protection Olena Skuibid; A certificate from the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration — senior lecturer of the Department of Marketing and Logistics Nataliya Onufrienko; Oksana Koryakina, a leading specialist of the Department of Management, was awarded a certificate of honor by the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration; By the certificate of the executive committee of the Zaporizhzhia city council — the leading specialist of the department of international activities and work with foreign students, Larisa Duyko.
