Round table meeting within the international project «Together We Can»

On March 19, teachers and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences took part in a round table meeting, at which the purpose and main tasks of the international project «Program of expanding opportunities for public leaders in Ukraine »«Together We Can»« were presented, which is implemented by the NGO »Social Interaction«, NU »Zaporizka Polytechnic«, Khortytsk National Academy in cooperation with the NGO »Human Rights Foundation« (Kyiv) with the support of the Institute of Foreign Cultural Relations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. The project is implemented in six regions of Ukraine: Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Sumy, and Chernivtsi.

The goal of the project is to empower public leaders, journalists and youth in the areas of strengthening social cohesion, civic participation, non-discrimination and equality, with the further strengthening of an inclusive regional recovery policy based on strengthening the public voice during the war and in post-war reconstruction.

The »Together We Can” project involves a number of events: youth leaders, ambassadors, students, public activists will have the opportunity to take part in 5 four-day interregional training schools and Summer Camp in Kyiv, 3 trainings and 10 blog cafes in Zaporizhzhia, 2 playback theater performances, highlight their activity in social networks, on the portal www.mustpost.online

During the round table, five female ambassadors presented their mini-projects that will be implemented within the framework of the project: «Creating life in times of war», «Youth leadership in action», «Women’s destinies changed by the war: »what« they say and »how« the media show», «Equality in action», «Youth changing the world: from idea to action in Kushugumsk community».
