Meeting of the Coordination Council on the Establishment of Ukrainian National and Civic Identity at the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration
On January 16, a meeting of the Coordination Council on the Establishment of Ukrainian National and Civic Identity at the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration was held in the Unbreakable Hub «Orbita» in an offline format under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Mykhailo Semykin.
The Coordination Council is a permanent consultative and advisory body established to participate in assessing the effectiveness of state policy in the field of establishment of Ukrainian national and civic identity and promotes the coordination of the activities of subjects of relations in this area in the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was represented at this meeting by Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko.
The results of the «Strategic Session on National and Civic Identity», the draft work plan of the Coordination Council for 2025, ways of cooperation with public organizations, and the program for training the civilian population in national resistance were considered.
The participants of the meeting were introduced to the activities of youth movements of the city of Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region on issues of military-patriotic education, national resistance, and veteran policy.
A decision was made to create Coordination Councils on issues of establishing Ukrainian national and civic identity in communities of the Zaporizhzhia region.
