Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is among the winners of Sikorsky Challenge 2024!
From October 29 to November 3, the International Festival of Innovation Projects «Sikorsky Challenge 2024: Innovations for the Peace and Security of Ukraine» was held in Kyiv.
More than 70 experts from Ukraine, Great Britain, USA, Spain, Poland, Latvia, Georgia, Japan, Saudi Arabia during 5 thematic panel discussions in offline and online formats discussed topical issues of innovative development and the importance of startups for the victory and post-war recovery of Ukraine.
Within the festival, the results of the Sikorsky Challenge 2024 Innovative Start-up Projects Contest were held, where this year 140 projects were submitted for participation in 8 sections:
Among the 65 finalist projects of the competition, the project «Radio-controlled machine for field soil preparation» was presented to the attention of experts, investors and stakeholders, prepared by a team of Ukrainian agrarians, entrepreneurs and scientists of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic: Head of the Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Devices Oleksandr Maly, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Devices Petro Andrienko, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Design, Vira Savchenko, head of the student research department, post-graduate student Snizhana Vychuzhanina.
At the festive closing ceremony of the festival, the team of the project «Radio-controlled machine for field soil preparation» was announced as the winner of the startup project competition in the nomination «Best startup solution to the client’s problems» in the «Agrotech and food security» section!
