Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University is a European Digital Innovation Hub in Ukraine

According to the results of the National Selection and the European Competition within the framework of the EU program «Digital Europe», the Zaporizhzhia European Digital Innovation Hub (ZP EDIH) received the right to join the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) with the Seal of Excellence award.

The project coordinator is the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the consortium also includes the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Zaporizhzhia Cluster «IAM».

European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) are platforms that will contribute to the improvement of production processes, products and services for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as state organizations using digital technologies.

The winners of the competition were associations that are ready to implement innovative projects and support the digital transformation of Ukrainian companies and government institutions. EDIH activities are aimed at supporting structured long-term relationships with relevant local stakeholders, such as regional authorities, industrial clusters, SME associations, business development agencies, incubators (including European Space Agency Business Incubators, ESA BIC), accelerators, chambers of commerce and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) partners.

Specialization of the Zaporizhzhia European Digital Innovation Hub — areas of computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and high-level digital skills.

The competition was held within the framework of the EU program «Digital Europe», the strategic implementer of which in Ukraine is the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the practical consultant — the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, with the support of the GIZ Ukraine program «Digital Transformation of SMEs in the Eastern Partnership Countries», funded by the Government of Germany.
