Carousel of Directions lesson dedicated to Economist’s Day
On October 12, another Carousel of Directions lesson was held with students in grades 6–7, dedicated to Economist’s Day.
What topics did the students explore?
- interesting facts about the origin of money
- risks of a careless attitude to the personal budget
- planning income and expenses in everyday life
- the future of cryptocurrencies
- the danger of quick loans and easy money
- the impact of the gambling business on the family budget and the country’s budget
The participants had a lively discussion about the importance of personal savings, which in adulthood are better transformed into investments in the stock market, because the pleasure of receiving dividends and annual growth of McDonalds shares lasts much longer than daily eating of fast food.
We are sure that this meeting will be the key to a good future for children and Ukraine. A financially literate child today is a wealthy country tomorrow.
