Event dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine
On October 1, an event dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine was held at the Museum of the History of Technical Progress of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Socio-Economic Development and Youth Policy Andriy Ivanchenko delivered a welcoming speech.
Stanislav Berezhny, Associate Professor of the Department of Integrated Welding Technologies and Structural Modeling, currently Senior Lieutenant, Head of the Psychological Resistance and Restoration Group of the Military Unit AO 217, Volodymyr Hordiychenko, Lecturer of the Department of Philosophy, Gunner of the Self-Propelled Artillery Installation of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, spoke about their combat experience.
Students of Energodar schools performed patriotic poems by Lina Kostenko.
