«Event in Support of Mental Health: Opinions of Experts» from the charitable NGO UK-Med
Students and master’s students of the Department of Psychology of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University took an active part in the «Event in Support of Mental Health: Opinions of Experts», which took place within the framework of World Mental Health Day, organized by the charitable NGO UK-Med.
The program of the event included participation in various thematic activities – lectures and workshops:
- Mental Health: Myths and Reality
- The Connection between Mental and Physical Health
- Psychological First Aid
- Self-Help and Mutual Aid Practices in Crisis conditions
- Art therapy
- Reflection
The participants considered the connection between mental and physical health, got acquainted with the practices of self-help and mutual help in crisis conditions and attended art therapy classes.
Student psychologists provided positive feedback, noting the relevance of information on providing psychological first aid and various practices.
