At the Polytechnic University of Madrid, there is a practice of students simultaneously obtaining several diplomas, which are in demand today on the European labor market. Based on the experience of colleagues from the Institute of Telecommunications and System Engineering, it is proposed to implement a similar practice for students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic.
In particular, it is possible to organize master’s studies with the aim of simultaneously obtaining several diplomas in the specialties of fields of knowledge 12 and 17. For example, students of the Department of Software, studying in the specialties 121 Software Engineering or 122 Computer Science can simultaneously study in the specialty 172 Telecommunications and radio engineering (educational and professional program «Telemedical and Biomedical Systems»). This program was created and successfully accredited at the end of 2020 as part of the implementation of the international educational project BIOART «Innovative multidisciplinary educational program for training bachelors and masters in artificial implants for bioengineering». affinities of specialties united by streams of students.
The implementation of this approach will allow taking into account the requirements of the labor market and provide more opportunities for students for further employment.
