Happy Armed Forces of Ukraine Day!
On December 6, 1991, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law «On the Armed Forces of Ukraine». Since then, the formation of the modern Ukrainian army began – the heir to the glorious traditions of the defenders of the native land.
The Ukrainian army is a symbol of strength, courage and steadfastness. Our soldiers demonstrate to the world strength of spirit, professionalism and indomitability every day. The Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reminds us of the heroism and self-sacrifice of those who stand in defense of the state.
We bow our heads to the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and future of Ukraine. Eternal glory to the fallen defenders!
