The decisive stage of the Zaporizhzhia regional final of the VI All-Ukrainian physical culture and health event among students of secondary schools «Cool games»

On November 7, the decisive stage of the Zaporizhzhia regional final of the VI All-Ukrainian physical culture and health event among students of secondary schools «Cool games» took place in the sports complex of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

Together with the leadership of the departments of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva and Acting Head of the Department of Physical Education, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports Alina Kubatko.

For several hours, on the playground of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, teams were determined that will represent Zaporizhzhia region at the all-Ukrainian stage. The event is already a good tradition and every year gathers under its banners the most active schoolchildren of Ukraine. We believe that the winners of the national selection will continue their performances at least on the European arena!

This time, teams of 3 age groups competed among themselves in three types of games: «Biathlon», «Catch and Run» and «Conveyor». Representatives of the second age group additionally played the game «Gulliver».

According to the results received by the teams, the places were distributed as follows:

First age division (grades 3–5):

1st place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium «Osnova» of the Zaporizhzhia City Council

2nd place — Mykhailo-Lukashivskyi Lyceum of the Mykhailo-Lukashivskyi Village Council of the Zaporizhzhia Region

3rd place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 98 of the Zaporizhzhia City Council

4th place — Bilenkivskyi Lyceum «Leader» of the Bilenkivskyi Village Council of the Zaporizhzhia District of the Zaporizhzhia Region

Second age division (grades 6–9):

1st place — Municipal institution «Sofiivska Gymnasium» of Sofiivska Village Council, Berdyansk District, Zaporizhzhia Region

2nd place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 107 of Zaporizhzhia City Council

3rd place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium «Osnova» of Zaporizhzhia City Council

4th place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 24 of Zaporizhzhia City Council

Third age division (10–11 grades):

1st place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 107 of Zaporizhzhia City Council

2nd place — Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum «Vybir» of Zaporizhzhia City Council, Zaporizhzhia Region

3rd place — Lyceum «Potential» of the Vilna City Council of Zaporizhzhia Oblast

4th place — Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 46 of the Zaporizhzhia City Council
