All-Ukrainian Forum «Educational Leadership Days». 1 day
On June 6, the All-Ukrainian forum «Educational Leadership Days» began at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University in a traditional mixed format, so everyone who wanted to participate could participate!
The leading theme of the forum was «The future of Ukrainian education: leadership that changes».
The Rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, Viktor Greshta, opened the forum, emphasizing the need to organize such platforms to unite educators, study best practices, successful cases of leading universities of Ukraine and, accordingly, form the leadership potential of higher education institutions, which should determine the guidelines and mechanisms of reforming and successful development of the higher education system in modern conditions of social and economic transformations.
The forum participants were greeted by the head of the subcommittee on higher education of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Yuliya Hryshina, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andriy Vitrenko, president of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen, head of the National Qualifications Agency Yurii Balanyuk, head of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine Petro Kulikov, member of the university supervisory board, first deputy head, chief designer of the thematic direction Vyacheslav Merkulov of «New Aircraft Engines» of SE «Ivchenko-Progress» and Oleksandr Golovko, President of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Union of Industrialists and Enterprises (Employers) «Potential».
The speakers of the forum were rectors of higher education institutions who daily overcome challenges caused by wartime crisis conditions: Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Oleksandr Azyukovsky, rector of Dnipro Polytechnic National University, Odesa National Technological University Larisa Ivanchenkova, acting. rector of the National Pharmaceutical University Alla Kotvytska, rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University Oleh Novomlynets, rector of the Yurii Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic National University Volodymyr Onishchenko, rector of the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University Serhiy Okovity, rector of the Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky Nataliia Falko, acting rector of Pryazovsky State Technical University Olena Khadzhinova, rector of Kherson National Technical University Olena Chepeliuk, acting Rector of the State University of Economics and Technologies Andrii Shaikan, as well as Vasyl Fedyuk, a member of the National Qualifications Agency.
Discussions were built around the topics of building and strengthening the educational community, reforming higher education systems, and integrating our higher education institutions into the European educational space.
Heads of youth associations and student self-governments spoke at the youth section. Their speeches were related to the tools of progressive youth leadership.
