Implementation of the scaled intervention «Self-Help+»
Mykola Novotarsky, a psychologist at the psychological service of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, has completed training in Kyiv and is starting the implementation of the scaled intervention «Self-Help+», aimed at supporting the mental health of the population.
«Self-Help+» is an innovative program developed by the World Health Organization (WHO). It is based on the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy and includes easy-to-use techniques that help effectively manage stress, anxiety and other negative emotions.
Thanks to the knowledge and skills gained, the university’s specialists have already begun to apply the «Self-Help+» program in their practice. It has become an important support tool for people facing difficulties, particularly in difficult life situations.
The implementation of «Self-Help+» at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is an important step in the development of psychosocial support in a frontline city.
