Workshop on digitalization of university administration at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden
On November 19-20, a workshop on digitalization of administrative and educational processes was held at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden. The event is organized as part of the «DILLUGIS» project, which has been implemented on the initiative of the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden and the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University for 3 years.
The event gathered representatives of leading universities of Ukraine and Germany, whose representatives exchanged experience and demonstrated their successful cases of digitalization of educational and administrative processes.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University was represented by Valerii Naumyk, vice-rector for international activities, who presented the university’s automated management system and the European Digital Innovation Hub. Professor Kateryna Antonyuk and Professor Dmytro Antonyuk talked about the research on digitization of universities, which was carried out within the framework of the «DILLUGIS» project.
The work of German colleagues turned out to be interesting for Ukrainian universities:
- Students-at-risk is an automated system that helps identify students with potential learning problems
- modern online courses and digital material
- use of the «Primuss» portal to manage the educational process and document flow (from student enrollment to graduation)
- digital platform for digitalization of academic mobility of students and teachers
- Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) are short-term academic mobility programs that combine online learning with a one-week stay at a partner institution
- digitalization of libraries and introduction of 24/7 service.
Participants discussed prospects for further cooperation within the framework of the DILLUGIS project, in particular joint educational programs, academic mobility and the development of digitalization in Ukrainian universities.
The workshop became an important platform for establishing international cooperation and developing innovative approaches in the field of educational process management.
