Zaporizhzhia has a unique history, a majestic Cossack heritage, rich traditions and a special character, shaped by generations of people for whom freedom, dignity and love for their native land have always been more than just words.
Zaporizhzhia has shown the whole world what it means to be invincible. In the most difficult times, it retains its strength and continues to live, work, teach, create and support those who defend Ukraine. It is the people who are the greatest wealth of our land – hardworking, courageous, talented.
We gratefully remember all those who created the history of Zaporizhzhia, built it, preserved its cultural heritage and protected our native land. We express special respect to our defenders, thanks to whom we have the opportunity to live, work and study. Their courage and sacrifice are the highest price of our freedom.
We wish Zaporizhzhia the strength to endure, recover and flourish. And to all its residents – good health, family warmth, encouragement and self-confidence.
We believe that very soon we will celebrate the birthday of Zaporizhzhia under the peaceful sky of a free, independent and prosperous Ukraine!
