Congratulations to the winners of the All-Ukrainian Student Distance Learning Olympiad in the disciplines “Theory and Methods of Physical Education” and “Olympic and Professional Sports”!

From April 20 to 24, the All-Ukrainian Student Distance Olympiad for students of the A7 specialty «Physical Culture and Sports» was held on the basis of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University. 57 students from 25 higher education institutions of Ukraine took part in the competition.

The ceremonial closing of the Olympiad and awarding of participants took place on May 6. The first vice-rector Serhiy Shilo, dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva, head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management Vasyl Mazin, head of the Department of Student Research Snizhana Vychuzhanina and head of the jury, associate professor of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Ludmila Shuba addressed the students with welcoming words.

1️⃣ According to the results of the Olympiad, Oleksiy Nikitenko (UFKS-112), a student of the 4th year of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management of NU «Zaporizka Polytechnic» won; the scientific supervisor is Inna Cherednychenko, associate professor of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management.
2️⃣ Student of Uman National University Lesya Melnyk took second place; the scientific director is Tetyana Osadchenko, an associate professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education.
3️⃣ Anna Kushnir, a student of the Yurii Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, won the third place; the scientific supervisor is Andrii Moldovan, associate professor of the department of sports and fitness.

In certain types of tasks, the best results were demonstrated by:
🔹 Andriy Serdyukov (Zaporizka Polytechnic University, UFKS-123) and Andriy Ustinov (Poltava National Pedagogical University named after V. G. Korolenko)
🔹 Anastasiia Koshel (Glukhiv National Pedagogical University named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko)
🔹 Lesya Melnyk (Uman National University)
