Congratulations to the winners of «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic»!
On April 17, the «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» business ideas competition ended with a grand finale. The finalists and guests were congratulated by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko, deputy director of the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations Ihor Parenchuk, head of the NGO «Laboratory of Legal Design» Vyacheslav Pryamitsyn, deputy head of the Council of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Federation of Employers Alena Gavrylenko, head of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists Serhiy Leoshchenko.
Work on the projects began in February. Registered participants underwent special training from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic. It was aimed at improving the skills of organization, promotion and presentation of business ideas and consisted of 5 open webinars, which were organized with the support of the State Organization «Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations». Participants received certificates after completing the training course.
Out of 21 business ideas, the selection committee chose the 10 best. In the final presentation, the participants were evaluated by our partners – representatives of organizations and enterprises: Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations, Zaporizhzhia Regional Federation of Employers, PJSC «Zaporizhstal», JSC «Motor Sich», SE «Ivchenko-Progress», JSC «Credit Agricole Bank», Zaporizhzhia Cluster «Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering», LLC «ALD Engineering and Construction».
Congratulations to the winners of the competition!
1st place – team «CashTech 3D» (Andriy Logvinenko, IF-511, mentor – senior lecturer of the Department of M and TLV Mykhailo Hnatenko) with the business idea «Bottles – raw materials for 3D printing».
2nd place — the Akatsuki team (Vladislav Nikulin, BK-512sp, mentor — acting head of the ITEZ department Oleksandr Maly) with the business idea «Using artificial intelligence and computer vision for automated reverse engineering of printed circuit boards».
3rd place — the ProEco team (Semen Melnyk, student of KTM 21 1/9 VSP «ZEFK») with the business idea «Mobile ECO-application».
The winners were awarded with nice prizes from the students’ trade union, certificates for trips from «Ivan Taxi» and bonuses. They will also receive a free consultation from Nataliia Vysotskaya, Head of the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The CashTech 3D team received a certificate from Credit Agricole Bank JSC for 1 year of free service and a certificate for participation in the Lab2Market_UA program outside the competition and free 8-hour consultations in the field of intellectual property and innovations from the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations.
The winners in the special nomination from the Ivchenko-Progress State Enterprise were congratulated by Yurii Torba, Deputy Director of the Enterprise for Scientific Work, Head of the Experimental and Testing Complex of the Ivchenko-Progress State Enterprise, who awarded the following teams with certificates for completing the internship and valuable prizes:
- InnoFilTech (Olexandr Lukyanenko, Maksym Gordienko — postgraduate students, Tetyana Stepanenko, IF-213m, mentor — associate professor of the FM department Darya Tkach) with the business idea «Innovative filaments for 3D printing»
- «Tokmak techies» (Maksym Zhovnirenko, Valeriy Kozak, Roman Govorukha, Oleksandr Stadnik, mentors — lecturer of the VSP «TMFC» Olena Chetveryk, acting director of the VSP «TMFC» Ruslan Koshelyuk) with the business idea «Complex computer diagnostics of internal combustion engines»

The teams that won in the special nomination from PJSC «Zaporizhstal» were congratulated by the acting chief specialist for interaction with youth of PJSC «Zaporizhstal», acting head of the Youth Organization of the Zaporizhstal Plant Oleh Donets, who presented the teams with valuable prizes:

The winners of the special nomination from JSC «Motor Sich» were congratulated by the head of the personnel motivation department of JSC «Motor Sich» Dmytro Gradinarov and the head of the personnel development bureau of JSC «Motor Sich» Alena Gavrylenko and awarded with certificates for internships with the possibility of further employment and valuable prizes to the following teams:
