Opening of the 25th Delcam training center at O.M. Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy. Beketova
On April 7, 2014, at Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O.M. Beketov, the opening ceremony of the Delcam training center took place. At the ceremony, in the hall of the scientific council of XNUMG named after O.M. Beketov, university management, heads of specialized departments and students were present. The first vice-rector of XNUMX named after O.M. Beketov, Mr. Hryhoriy Vasyliovych Stadnyk and rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Serhiy Borisovych Belikov.
General Director of Delcam Plc Hugh Humphreys and Director of CAD Center Oleh Borysenko (Lviv) gave a report on Delcam’s developments and cooperation with enterprises. The head of the SSC ZNTU-Delcam, Vitalii Yuriyovych Klymenko, spoke about Delcam’s cooperation with higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the joint project «Advanced computer technologies for universities of Ukraine».
After the reports and discussion, a three-party agreement was signed between ZNTU, KhNUMG named after O.M. Beketova, Delcam Plc and the transfer of software in the amount of more than 1.8 million USD.
Thus, XNUMX named after O.M. Beketova became the 25th university participating in the project.
